Disney Stroller 6 Year Old
I wonder if anyone has brought a 6 year old to the disney and.
Disney stroller 6 year old. The 6 year old walked most of the time but there were a few times when she was just worn out and then she was able to share the stroller with her brother. Our ds is now 10 years old and we miss the stroller days. It s a personal decision but i wouldn t push a 6 year old in a stroller. He used it and we used it we used a maclaren stroller and it was sturdy for our hefty 6 year old.
I recommend a stroller as long as you can when visiting walt disney world resort even for children who would never consider using a stroller at home. In the end i decided to have a stroller for him and i am so glad i did. And i m speaking for experience. Just go at a reasonable pace and take a few breaks during the day for ice cream and such and they should be fine but again it s a personal decision.
I was determined to find the best lightweight stroller for a 5 year old to take on our disney trip that was more durable than the typical umbrella stroller. My 9 year old would kill me if i brought a stroller for her lol. I don t think there is anything on the market for kids that big other than special needs strollers. I heard there is a lot of walking and not sure how they cope at this age and if it s worth bringing a stroller despite the fact he is too big for it.
Since you asked i think a 6 and 8 year old in a stroller is ridiculous absent special needs of course. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Even a 6 year old is above most weight height limits to be safe in them. My kids grew up at disney and even though they were tired by the end of the night they had no problems walking the whole day.
Our last trip with a stroller was when he was 6 years old. And i know you said that they aren t lazy but really that is what it is. When we went on our disney world trip last year i knew we would need a stroller. My oldest is also 6 years old and i faced the same dilemma our trip earlier this year.
My kids grew up at disney and even though they were tired by the end of the night they had no problems walking the whole day. I own a bob and i m sure my 6 year old could fit in it if needed. As for a stroller for that age if you want to rent from an offsite vendor then i d go with a true jogging stroller as they accommodate larger kids better. This past trip we had our 2 year old and 4 year old nieces with us.
Our son was about to turn 5 and we knew a stroller would make the trip easier. It s a personal decision but i wouldn t push a 6 year old in a stroller.
